The sample pro-formas on the following pages (in PDF format) are designed to aid you in determining what some expected business costs might be for light manufacturing facilities of various sizes. While these are not intended to reflect accurate annual business costs, they do provide an opportunity to compare differences in costs in the BorderPlex with those of other areas.
MVEDA ran comparisons on four different sized facilities. The 50-employee, 150-employee and 300-employee data sets reflect leased buildings. The 600-employee site data set reflects new construction.
Each data set uses a variety of job classifications which may or may not reflect the exact staffing needs of your facility. Hourly wage rate comparisons are included. These wage rates were taken from the Geographic Reference Report, 2004, printed by the Economic Research Institute.
